New radio...chimes when ignition is turned off

I have a 2005 Silverado 2500 HD, extended cab.
I just installed a new Sony radio (CDXGT56UI that is SiriusXM Satellite radio connector ready) with the Metra Axxess universal steering wheel control interface, and a Sirius-XM SXV200V1 XM In-Car Tuner and Antenna by Audiovox to plug into the Sony radio. I also replaced the two front speakers with Sony 6.5” speakers.
Everything is working fine, except now, when I turn off the ingition, after about 5 seconds I hear a chime (sounds like a doorbell…two dings) coming from the speakers. It repeats two more times, all in the space of about 5 seconds.
Can anyone tell me what that’s all about?

I too have a sony radio it does the same thing i'm pretty sure its just a sefety measure to let you know the faceplate is still there and also to let you know its shitting off.

My stereo does the same thing. At least I know im not the only one.
